Cordoba Series 90% Wool 10% Cotton Handwoven Kilim – White (White)
The Cordoba Series Handwoven Kilim is a collection of natural and durable kilims made from a blend of 90% wool and 10% cotton. Crafted from hand-spun New Zealand wool, this kilim features a pile-free flatweave structure and fringed edges, offering a fine, lightweight, and natural foundation. The natural warmth of wool and the softness of cotton combine with a modern weave to add a warm, contemporary character to any space. This variant offers a simple, bright look with a modern pattern on a white (white) background.
What Are New Zealand Wool and Cotton?
Wool and cotton are two natural fibers obtained from nature. New Zealand wool is considered among the highest-quality wools in the world thanks to its natural whiteness, softness, and long fibers; it provides warmth, is flexible, and retains its shape even with intensive use. Cotton is a natural plant fiber known for its softness and breathable structure. When these two fibers come together, the kilim offers both the warmth and fullness of wool and the comfortable texture of cotton. The Cordoba Series is woven from hand-spun New Zealand wool using the pile-free flatweave technique; its fringed edges and modern pattern give it a contemporary character.

How Should a Wool Kilim Be Cleaned?
Cordoba Series 90% wool handwoven kilims should only be cleaned by professional carpet-cleaning companies. Due to the natural wool fibers and fringed edges, home washing or cleaning with large amounts of water is not recommended. For daily care, use a low-suction vacuum cleaner without catching the fringes in the vacuum; this will help preserve the kilim’s texture, colors, and shape for a long time.
Add natural warmth and a modern touch to your living spaces with the Cordoba Series white handwoven kilim. Hassle-free returns are available within 14 days of delivery. For more options, explore our wool rugs and handwoven rugs collections.

Protect Your Elegance
To preserve the original splendor and silky texture of Carpetdocia’s handwoven and natural-fiber creations that add value to your living space for generations, you should adopt a careful maintenance routine.
Immediate Action and Liquid Spills
When a liquid is spilled, timing is the most critical factor. Using a clean, slightly damp cloth and never rubbing, gently blot the liquid from the surface. Always work in the direction of the rug’s pile (the natural lay of the fibers). Rubbing can damage the structure of delicate fibers such as TENCEL™ and viscose. If you are unsure, stop immediately.
Routine Care and Light Balance
For your weekly cleaning routine, always use vacuum cleaners with low suction power. High-powered upright vacuum cleaners and stiff brushes can damage the natural structure of handwoven yarns. To balance the reaction of natural fibers to light and prevent localized tone differences (fading), we recommend changing the direction of your rug every 2 to 6 months.
Expert Care (Professional Cleaning)
Noble materials such as handwoven fibers, TENCEL™, viscose, and New Zealand wool should not come into contact with household chemical cleaners. These products can irreversibly damage the rug’s silky sheen and structural integrity. For deep cleaning, seek assistance only from professional rug-care centers specializing in natural fibers.
